Most resin ribbons still contain some wax, but they are mostly pure ink resins. These are the most durable ribbons and expensive TTRs. They are compatible with glossy coated paper labels, synthetic film labels such as polypropylene, polyethylene, polyester, and special receptors such as polyamide, acrylate, and textiles.
They are designed for extreme environments and are most resistant to smudging, scratching, extreme temperatures and chemicals

Features of Resin Ribbons
- Extreme Durability: provide superior durability and resistance to harsh conditions
- Chemical Resistance: Toffler excellent resistance to chemicals, including solvents, oils, and cleaning agents
- Heat and UV Resistance: resist to high temperatures and ultraviolet (UV) exposure, making them suitable for outdoor labelling applications that require long-term durability.
- Print Quality: produce high-resolution prints with sharp, detailed images and barcodes
- Compatibility: compatible with a wide range of label materials, including synthetic materials like polyester (PET), polyimide (PI), and polypropylene (PP)

The application of industry which is required to use resin ribbons
Electronics industry requires high resolution and heat resistance up to 250°C.
Example: Printing barcode or QR code stickers on PCB components and electronic devices that must withstand heat from assembly.
Chemical industry requires solvent resistance and contamination resistance.
Example: Labels for medicine bottles, chemical bottles, and lab labels that are exposed to various solvents.
Automotive industry requires durability against abrasion, heat, and prolonged storage.
Example: Barcode labels on parts, engines, and equipment exposed to harsh environments.
Garment / Textile industry requires detailed, sharp printing that is resistant to abrasion and heat, and can be printed on all surfaces.
Example: Washable fabric care labels.
Logistics industry / Outdoor and export product labeling requires durability in harsh conditions, including abrasion, scratch, humidity, and prolonged exposure to sunlight.
Example: Labels for containers, returnable pallets
General manufacturing industries requires durable printing.
Example: frozen food (labels that will not fade even in extreme cold or humidity).
